Wow! So much time has passed! Here are the 'after' pics of Missy's Craft Room! (See the previous post for the "before" pictures!)
So this six-month project started with some concealed visits to their house during Missy's workday where we took measurements and then started on some CAD drawings. I met with the cabinet company who set to work planning and making the custom cabinetry....
Below is her Computer/Laptop Area...
And below will be her Sewing Machine area...
Trust me.... the area below between the two storage towers is for hubbie's flat screen TV... you know that if he wants to see her he will have to join her in this great room!
A long granite worktable...great for craft projects! It's supported by substantial storage cubbies on either end!
I ordered two steel wrapping paper racks with attached razor cutters off the internet. They are super sturdy and mount to the scrapbook storage cabinet below... Imagine how easy it would be to wrap birthday or holiday gifts in this room!
We added a window seat cushion and an awning window valance below...
.... and cute drapery panels below that were trimmed with random buttons! Cute!!!!
And the thoughtful hubbie took Missy on a great birthday trip, during which everything was transformed in a four-day time period! To say that she was shocked would be an understatement!
So that's a 'wrap' for Missy's Craft Room... We are now on to other rooms in the house!
